The votes are in, the reign of the New Duke begins, at WHS and across the Crusader Nation!

Congratulations to Dakota Lynnes who received the royal nod during the halftime of the boys varsity basketball game at WHS on Friday. Other candidates included Devin Dickinson, Chase Pfalzgraf, Nic Reyes, DeAndre Washington. This year's Duke escorts were the Duchess candidates themselves, including Duchess Juliette Hyer, crowned as such this past Fall during football season. In addition to Juliette, Jacelyn Buck, Taylor Meyer, Skylar Troutman, and Arielle Pottier. The child escorts were Julian Burden and Adrienne Norris!

All week has been a whirlwind for the Duke Candidates and their escorts. With daily themes to dress to and then the Duke Pep Assy and the Coronation itself on Friday, the group has been busy. All culminated Friday evening with the traditional DUKE DANCE in the Commons. Congrats again to Dakota and to the entire Court! GO CRUSADERS!
